Anyone successfully run Macro Recorder in Remote Desktop mode (while disconnected from machine)

I've tried this but it keeping running into issues. Has anyone tried this and managed to make it work? Eager to hear back on best practices used to make this work on Windows Remote Desktop.

It is not possible to run Macro Recorder without an active Desktop session
