Display variable result (not code) in Last user input/selection SOLVED

I'm using a form that sets Location_ID as a temporary variable to check/process the variable. (Top half of attached)
With "Last user input selection" enabled, the form displays the variable code rather than the variable value, resulting in a very confusing Default Value for the user. (Bottom half of image)

Is there a way to display the variable value and not the code in the Form?

Update - looks like deselecting "Last user input/selection" and adding the temp variable as the "Default value" does the trick.
