Program Restrictions - Exclude PhraseExpress itself?

Post by vertigoelectric » 25 Apr 19, 01:02

Is it possible to exclude PhraseExpress itself from phrase and macro input?

While I'm typing in PhraseExpress, the smart complete phrases keep popping up and I'd like to prevent that.

You can exclude "PhraseExpress.exe" in "Settings -> Options -> Expert Options -> Application Restrictions" by selecting "Enter name" in the application selection drop down and entering PhraseExpress.exe.

@vertigoelectric
Or maybe this can help: "Temporarily disable PhraseExpress"

Ahhhh, I didn't know that was there in the settings. I only knew about the "Program restrictions" button in the Phrases tab of the ribbon. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I've tried manually excluding PhraseExpress.exe before and it didn't work. It seems to be working great now, though.

Thanks!
