Delete already-outputted text

Post by baffleblend » 30 Oct 19, 23:57

If I wanted to delete some previously outputted text that was no longer needed (e.g. a loading/processing indicator), what would I need to do?
I tried {#ASC 8} for a Backspace, but while that appeared to work as intended on my own display, others saw invalid character squares added instead.

@baffleblend
Hmm - {#BKSP -count x} should work.

"{#asc 8} → others saw invalid character squares added instead"
Might depend on the target application...

A different idea:
You could also remove text parts with the #replace-macro afterwards.
