Macro Error Handler SOLVED

Is there any way to handle macro errors such that I don't have to see, and interrupt my work flow to dismiss, the error PE message box?
For instance if a URL is not found.
Thank you.

Multiple Hot Keys SOLVED

Is it possible to setup multiple hot keys for the same macro. I tried creating a link and editing the hot key for the link but it simply changed both the link AND the original. I think I could do it by creating a macro that runs the original macro but that's confusing and difficult to remember when ...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

The following code works. I recreated from scratch; note the 200ms pauses {#clipboard -copy}{#sleep 200}{#RUN -FILE "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -params "-incognito"}{#sleep 200}{#focus New*}{#sleep 200}image{#space}{#trim {#insertclipboard}}{#ENTER} I had noticed a ...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

How would Sendkey change the behavior of #focus? Everything else works perfectly, and occasional even #focus works. Is it possible to contact the app developers on this? Security blocking, and testing on Win 7 seem like dead-end strategies. Else, I am happy to allow you to remote my machine—next Mon...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

I already have and occasionally use PEX search pages, but it is not what I need. I am looking for an incognito/private window that will shield the image search from casual, local users (not marketers, cookies, etc.) of the laptop, when I am not around. But that is much beside the point. Why is Phras...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

I don't speak German, but in English, the focus is not set. I have all the addons but don't see anything referring to image search. Can you please give me some direction, noting the idea is to achieve the search in"incognito" mode, seemlessly? It worked correctly for a long time till a few months ag...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

No, the window name does not change. I added a delay as follows, thinking maybe the Chrome incognito window was not yet available to Windows, as follows, but same result. {#clipboard -copy}{#RUN -FILE "C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" -params "-incognito"} {#sleep 75} {#f...

Re: #focus Chrome New Incognito Window SOLVED

Hi sorry I was premature in marking this as solved. Using the placeholder wildcard * works only when the copied item is a single word. If the text item being copied to the clipboard is more than one word then #focus does not work. The copy works correctly (I know because I can past it back into a te...

Re: Reverse string / text SOLVED

Hmmm, I understand what you mean with the subst and that would work fine I am only a light programmer so don't really understand your source code. When I copy and execute I get this. This is an example 1234¹(abcdefgABC$ String reverse . . . . . . . . . . . . . : TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT ...

Re: Reverse string / text SOLVED

Thanks Peter, that looks pretty good, and yes I fat fingered; the reverse of the string I provided is (*$CBAgfedcba4321. The point being that I need it to work for all basic data types. When I executed your code I didn't get any output so tried these three (separately), but none really worked {#gett...

Re: Julian Date SOLVED

Here's an improved excel formula, more precise. I fudged the 5 hour UTC offset since I am in New York. Note for true accuracy you will need to first sync with Naval Observatory. =TEXT(365.25*(4713+2000-1)-14+(5+5)/24+ NOW() -DATEVALUE("01/01/2000"),"0.0000") For different dates substitute a referenc...

Re: Julian Date SOLVED

Done! took 10 minutes. Note the use of the excel text function so I can avoid extra clicks in excel to format, because I actually will copy then use it in a different program. Autotext: juliandate|jdate|jdx|xdj =TEXT(ROUND(365.25*(4713+2000)+TODAY()-DATEVALUE("01/01/2000"),0),"0_);(0)") All good tha...

Re: Julian Date SOLVED

Well thanks Peter, ironically earlier this evening I was watching "The Great Dictator" and cracking up at Chaplin's mangled Anglo-German. It reminds me of the manual that came with our BMW--by far the best car on the planet, well that cost less than $70k anyway, but the English translated manuals ar...
